Usually different every night but one of:

Roast Beef,
Chicken Curry
Sausages,
Spag Bol
etc

you get the idea ... what any family with kids would probably eat.  Usually 3 vegetables (at least involved) and no dessert.

Also with a glass of (full cream milk) ... or maybe a glass of wine for the kids Smile

For Dinner it is one of these:

Stirfry  include hokkien or rice noodles.
Chow Mein
Steak + veggies or salad
Lamb + veggies or salad
Chicken + veggies or salad
Pork + veggies or salad
Fish + veggies or salad
Spaghetti

I just got a slow cooker and it is the best for doing dinners, put your ingredients in of a morning put it onto auto and dinner is ready at night. Good for donig stew, curries, roast meat, soups etc and great on budget cuts of meat.

Being a single male who usually shops for dinner from the supermarket freezer, are there any quick and easy meals that are also sugar free?

Having sadly discovered frozen pizza is not good when it comes to sugar!

Ufortunately no Sad

Thats packaged food for you - high in sugar to make it appetizing. Im a single bloke. Dedicate a day (for me a Sunday arvo), and make all your meals for the week. Ill make a chicken and veg stew, some spag bog, maybe even a lamb roast. Buy the silver foil containers and youve got 18 to 20 meals for emergencies. On a normal day ill cook up a steak with vege etc and when i cant be bothered nuke one of those frozen meals.

Just get yourself trained and youll get there Smile

Happy Days

Gents,

Two words "Meat" "Pie". I have Seargents "Premium Chunky Beef" from the freezer section of the local IGA and they are the business. Each pie has 0.9g Sugars. I can't remember the numbers but even the potato pie is low in Fructose.

Of course, the trap for young players is that you probably need to skip the tomato sauce.

Nice! I actually have a couple of those in my freezer. Sargents quality is way better than your average pie.

Used to be able to get (maybe you still can, not in my country town tho!) Steak and Peppercorn pies, they were awesome Smile

I'm finding the no-sugar easy at the moment!! Hopefully this will last. Was cleaning the other day and found a Maltesers packet from my previous diet - 55gms of sugar! Incredible.

Spoke too soon! The sugar craving struck and I found a leftover chocolate bar from a skiing trip in August  Embarassed

Dinner tonight is home made hamburgers. Checked the sugar content of the sliced beetroot in the supermarket and passed on that! So the fresh tomatoes will be the worst villain.

What is on other peoples' menu tonight?
